After taking a 0-day (as the AT hikers would call it) at the wonderful bear's den lodge and having breakfast with a boy scout troop, today I had to Front Royal and out onto the @skyline drive. Today is in a sense when he trip really begins. The skyline and parkway are my 600 mile long destination.
